Every destination awes me with fascination because of its surprising beauty yet to be discovered. What impresses me more is how affordable these places are. Yet, some people are not aware that these tourist spots actually exists.
And so, I found myself traveling back to Mambukal Resort. I have been here a couple of times and the place keeps on improving every time I’m here for some silent refuge from the city pollution.
Mambukal Mountain Resort is located in Murcia, Negros Occidental. Considered as the gateway to Mt. Kanlaon, it is approximately 1,200 feet above sea level. From its interiors, the area exudes a traditional Japanese hot spring you normally see in anime or Japanese traditional movies. From a little research, I have known that the place was developed by a Japanese Architect named Kokichi Paul Ishiwata.
It is quite disappointing to discover that my camera lost most of its memory. Dozen of Mambukal photos erased. Now, I have to grab some photos from Mambukal Resorts’s website just to complete this blog post. These are the photos of the rooms in the resort. Yep, these are what you will expect to cater you when you reach the site.

We went on the seven waterfalls hike but ended up on the 6th since we are running out of time. But that’s ok. I am not really a fan of hiking though. hahaha
Ghad. To think this was only three months ago. Where did that body go? LoL |
